The South Arkansas Arts Center (SAAC) in El Dorado will host the artwork of Arkansas artists Teri Callaway and Kelly Phelps from Jan. 4-29. An artist's reception will take place on Jan. 9 from 6-8 p.m. SAAC provides monthly gallery exhibits featuring local, regional and nationally acclaimed artists, an annual season of community theatre productions, visual arts classes for children and adults, photography, ballet, music, and drama. It also provides Artists-in-Education in area schools. The center’s 22,500-square-foot facility houses three art galleries, a ballet studio, a 206-seat theatre, a scene and costume shop, a photography studio, educational classroom space, and an open studio for artists.
