NEW COMMUNITY CHOIR BEING FORMED IN MENA
WHAT: A new community choir being formed in Mena comprised of adult males and females. Musical material will include traditional choral in 4-part harmony. Ouachita Strings Chamber Orchestra will accompany some of the concerts

Members of the Ouachita County community who like to sing
COST TO PARTICIPATE: There is no cost to participate
BACKGROUND: A new community choir is being formed and they are looking for members. There are presently about 25 people in the initial group, which has only met twice. People in their late teens and older, who like to sing in any voice range are welcome to join. The music will be a blend of traditional choral pieces in four-part (SATB) harmony and the choir will be accompanied by the local chamber orchestra, The Ouachita Strings, in some performances.
