NEW ART EXHIBIT AT OZARK HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER Flowers have arrived at Ozark Health Medical Center in Clinton just in time for Mother’s Day and other spring events. The flowers are in the form of art, in a new exhibit by the North Central Arkansas Artist League. The exhibit also includes animals, birds, landscapes, figures, impressionistic and expressionistic creations. Viewers will find original work in watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, pastels, collages, and mixed media. Fifteen local artists are exhibiting: Kathleen Hadley, Connie Hood, Ellen Kelly, Ruby Krimm, Freda May, Charlotte Rierson, Doris Sexson, Louise Shaw, Alison Shreck, and Van Swink, all of Fairfield Bay; Jan Cobb, Julie Caswell, Pamma Henderson, Judy Shumann of Edgemont; and Joyce Hartmann of Choctaw, OHMC Exhibit Coordinator. The exhibit is located at the hospital in Clinton on S. Highway 65, on the second floor near the cafeteria. It will remain through August 9th, although works which are purchased will be replaced by new art. A portion of each sale supports Hospital Auxiliary projects. For further information about the exhibit, contact Joyce Hartmann, 745-6615. For information about the North Central Arkansas Artist League, contact President Jan Cobb at 825-7084.
