Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre Brings Tom Sawyer to the Stage (LITTLE ROCK, AR) – One of the most loved books of all time, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer will be on stage at the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre September 17 – October 3, 2010. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer chronicles the adventures of Mark Twain’s mischievous young hero in a small town on the Mississippi River. This story will always be an American classic. Adapted for the stage by Timothy Mason, this play is narrated by the character of Mark Twain. The cast for The Adventures of Tom Sawyer includes: Dean Patterson as Tom; Elias Baer as Huck; Cole Ewing as Sid; Michael Peré as Joe Harper; Thomas Paladino as Ben Rogers; Owen Kyong-McClain as Billy Fisher; Hunter Wood as Bob Tanner; Kate Budney as Janie Miller; Sarah Nicholson as Becky Thatcher; Anna Tess Frost as Amy Lawrence; Augusta Fitzgerald as Susan Harper; Mattingly Bartole as Gracie Miller; Thomas Lewis as Will Hanley; Caitlin Ramsey as Sally Jones; Asia Suggs as Beth Parsons; Park Lanford as Andy Tanner; Gillian Anderson as Mother Hopkins; Kelsie Craig as Sereny Harper; Stephanie Olson as Aunt Polly; Jim Short as Singer/Sheriff Thompkins; John Isner as Judge Thatcher; Jordy Neill as Mr. Dobbins/Doc Robinson; Jimi Brewi as Mark Twain/Defender/Reverend; Mark Hansen as Muff Potter; and Michael Nickerson as Injun Joe.
