FALL ART SHOW OPENS AT KETZ GALLERY
(North Little Rock – October 8, 2010) -- The Ketz Gallery will host the Fall Art Show featuring paintings and pottery of local artists on Friday, October 15 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. during the Third Friday Art Walk. Beer and pretzels will be served.
The Fall Art Show will include the most recent works of Jenell Richards, Lois Davis and Rene’ Hein. In addition, fall-theme pottery by Annette Costa and sculptured pieces by Alyson Dal Ponte will be displayed. Jenell Richards, who is the Program Director for the Arkansas League of Artist’s and chair person for their Annual Member show, has received numerous awards including the Top ten Artists in 2008 Mustard Tree Art annual juried event; 2008 ALA yearly members show; 2009 ALA yearly juried show, and featured artist at the Collaboration of the Arts in Little Rock, in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Jenell describes her artistic process as a revelation to see the “light” in creation. Her paintings offer a broad range of contemporary and impressionistic styles.
Located at 705 Main Street in historic Argenta, the KETZ Gallery first opened in August, 2009. The Gallery features new and emerging artists from central Arkansas. It has a wide variety of contemporary and traditional styles including oil and acrylic paintings, pottery, watercolors, pastels, photography, art glass and wood works.
