The River Valley Arts Center offers a rich variety of art exhibitions throughout the year. The Arts Center is proud to announce Local Artist Showcase, the November featured art exhibit. The works of approximately 30 local artists will grace the walls of the gallery with their paintings and 3-d works. Many of the pieces will be for sale should you want to expand your private collection or begin purchasing your Christmas gifts. Artists will be available for a gallery talk and question and answer time at the exhibit opening reception Sunday, November 7, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend and there is no admission fee.
The array of subject matter and painting styles are gloriously diverse as each artist renders her own individual style. “We are so excited to have this group of talented artists show their work at the Arts Center,” said Arts Center director Betty LaGrone. “For some, it may be the first time they have exhibited with us and that is always exciting for them as well as for us and the community,” she continued.
The exhibit will continue through the month of November. Bring your children to Sunday Funday for a creative art experience during the reception. Arkansas River Valley Arts Center is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
