Cantrell Gallery to Host Group Show, Featuring Art by 28 Local Artists in Celebration of 40 Years in Business The upcoming exhibit at Cantrell Gallery, 40th Anniversary Group Show will open with a reception on Friday, November 5, 6 – 8:00 pm. 28 of the local artists who are regularly represented at Cantrell Gallery will be featured in this exhibit. (Please see a complete list of artists below) Most of the participating artists will be at the Opening Night party. Refreshments will be served – admission is free and open to the public. Helen & Norman Scott started their art and framing business in downtown Little Rock on 7th Street as Art Fair in 1970. After several moves in the early years, the business settled down in the current location in 1976, in the Cantrell Heights shopping center, across from Pavilion in the Park. It is still family owned and operated. Helen, her daughter Cindy Scott-Huisman, and her son-in-law Clarke Huisman manage all aspects of the 40-year-old business, and they absolutely love it! Please plan on making it by to see this exhibit, which will feature all new works by: Kae Barron, JP Bell, Jerry Burrow, Paul Caldwell, Lange Cheek,Daniel Coston, Bob Crane, Warren Criswell, Cici Davidson, Debie Deaton, John Deering, Katrina Dolislager, Ovita Goolsby, Doug Gorrell, Thom Hall,Kitty Harvill, Rhonda Hicks, Carole Katchen, Megan Lewis, Barry Lindley, Judd Mann, Sarah Merkle, Sarah Noebels, LeeNora Parlor, Randy Rhea,Julie Waschka and Virginia Williamson The 40th Anniversary Group Show will continue through December 24. Cantrell Gallery will close early on Friday, December 24, at 3:00 and will re-open on Monday, January 3 at 10:00 am.
