ARTIST LEAGUE HANGS NEW ART EXHIBIT IN CLINTON The North Central Arkansas Artist League hung a new exhibit at Ozark Health Medical Center on South Highway 65 in Clinton. The public is invited to support the local artists and view the art until November 7th, with 33 paintings for sale through the Gift Shop; a portion of each sale is set aside to help the Hospital Auxiliary with their projects. Arkansas artists participating are Julie Caswell and Jan Cobb, Edgemont; Raylene Finkbeiner, Houston; Diana Foote, Clinton; Judy Shumann, Jeanne Homuth, Connie Hood, Ellen Kelly, Ruby Krimm, Freda May, Charlotte Rierson, Doris Sexson, and Van Swink, Fairfield Bay; Mary Shelton, Cabot; Louise Shaw, Quitman; Kathryn Jones and Joyce Hartmann, Choctaw. A great variety of styles and media can be seen, including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, oils, collages and mixed media using wax. Florals, animals, landscapes, abstracts, figures, still life: all types of subject matter are on display.
