Bridging the Past, Present and Future

Bridging the Past, Present and Future: Recent Works by Sandra Ramos curated by Diane Camber Through July 7 in Gallery One. This exhibition is comprised of prints, video and objects created by Cuban artist Sandra Ramos who resides in Havana, Cuba. For over twenty years this artist has reflected in masterful prints the conflicting experiences of living in her beloved homeland with all its many challenges. Her work often takes a narrative form in which she depicts herself as a child-like explorer of modern day Alice in Wonderland. Ramos' prints and mixed media works feature exquisite draftsmanship, use of the color, and naiveté, tempered by wit and irony.
