Osceola, AR (September 23, 2013) – Photographs from Osceola artists are featured in a national exhibit that debuted at the U.S. Capitol and is touring cities along the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River Photo Exhibit visits Osceola’s Mississippi County Museum September 27 through October 11, 2013. The exhibit is a project of the Mississippi River Cities & Towns Initiative’s (MRCTI) and is presented by the Osceola Center for Arts and Heritage in partnership the Mississippi County Museum. An opening night reception is September 27, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Mississippi County Museum. Dickie Kennemore, Mayor of Osceola, who is on the board of the MRCTI, will honor Osceola artists Sandra Brand, Jennifer Weaver and John Warriner, whose work is featured in the exhibit. The public is invited to attend. Exhibit hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
