Trailing 2-0, Magnolia scored three runs in the sixth inning to cap a 3-2 comeback victory over Greenwood in the Class 5A state title game at Bears Stadium on the campus of UCA. Landon Simpson, an Arkansas signee and brother of former SAU pitcher and Cubs first round pick Hayden Simpson, was named game MVP.
