Armorel, the no.4-seed out of their region, scored 10 runs in the first three innings to propel themselves to the Class 1A state championship with a 13-7 victory over Viola, who entered the game with a 33-1 record. The Tigers finished with 14 hits and were aided by the Longhorns four errors.
