Council of state hits gay nuptials June 21, 2014 at 6:12 a.m.

Never thought I would see the day where I would agree with anything John Walker says but he hit it out of the park! Rapert has no clue why the majority doesn't rule when the rights of minority is trampled by delude people like him. He cannot say this is any different than slavery or segregation. Christianity is a personal choice NOT a legislated one.

No rest for the Rapert June 15, 2014 at 2:45 p.m.

Keep up the good work Mr. Brummett! It's a crying shame someone with such a pea brain is an elected official. I wish Tyler Pearson all the luck and pray for an upset this fall in the General election.

No excuse for injustice A response to a state senator June 8, 2014 at 2:09 p.m.

Well done Judge Griffin. It's obvious Rapert slept through Civics class. Hopefully he isn't really as ignorant as he comes across. Hopefully he gets beat next election.

Sand’s tax break gets Beebe’s veto March 18, 2014 at 9:56 p.m.

'Private option' funding bill fails in House April 15, 2013 at 9:02 p.m.

It is a shame these repubicans care more about unborn than people already here. Supposedly they are Christians but you will NOT know it by their love.

Elliott files in-state-tuition proposal March 11, 2013 at 4:46 p.m.

Hell why not? The U of A in Fayetteville gives away boat loads of money to people from Texas and Kansas to lower their tuition to in state levels at the expense of in state students with better academic credentials. My kid had a 30 on the ACT and 3.75GPA and the U of A gave her not one thin dime! One of her classmates from Texas had a 26 on the ACT and a 3.25 GPA and got $10,000 of Arkansas taxpayer money. They say it is for diversity (BS).

Beebe vetoes 12-week abortion ban bill March 4, 2013 at 9:42 p.m.

Raper and the Repubicans do it again. They think that God is calling them to enact unconstitutional laws to impose religious views on people that may or may not agree with their small minded attempt to make us a theocracy. I wish there were some way to make Raper Mayberry and the other Repubican idiots pay for the cost of the litigation out of their own pockets.
I guarantee you that not one of the pro life people posting here would ever even THINK about adopting a baby to help fix the problem.

Arkansas House votes to override veto on 20-week abortion ban February 27, 2013 at 8:23 p.m.

I am so sick and tired of people that actually do not understand that the USA is NOT a christian country it is a free country with atheists's, Jew's Muslims, Hindu's, Buddist's and agnostics. We ALL have a right that should not be infringed on by narrow minded one agenda people like the Repubicans (intentially spelled). They have been giddy about all the illegal social changes they have made that will end up costing all taxpayers money to defend what will certainly be overturned in the court system. Courts are there to protect us from misguided majority that try to impose their will via the legislative process. The bible says we have "free will" to follow or not to follow Jesus teachings. While much of our society has turned their backs on God, it isn't the responsibility of any government group to try and mandate that these people change. The only change will be in their heart and there is nothing any Repubican can do to change that. I have experienced with a friend the trama of an unwanted pregnacy and what the women face. My friend decided to abort their baby. It was not a decision she came to lightly. And for all you moron's she was on birth control but had a round of antibiotics that reduced their effectivness resulting in the pregnancy. I seriously doubt that this procedure is one anyone enters into lightly and Mayberry and Raper have no business in a womens reproductive rights. It is between GOD and the indivdual, not the Arkansas Legislature.

Airport chief’s trip raises rules discord February 24, 2013 at 8:47 p.m.

No way in H--l this jerk should be allowed to travel first class at our expense. For the commissioners to even hint that it's okay tells me we need to revisit their apppointment to this board.
