Mary Wright, Sr., Hot Springs Lakeside

Mary Wright, a senior from Hot Springs Lakeside, overcame three match points to down Emily Metcalf in the girls Overall high school tennis tournament. Wright came back for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory to defeat the sophomore from Valley View. Wright, who lost in the Overall finals in 2010, has committed to play tennis next fall at SMU. Metcalf had reached the Overall semifinals in 2011.
