Man robs Dollar General, takes $1,900 in cash

A robber stole almost $2,000 from a Little Rock Dollar General on Tuesday, police say.

Two employees were walking outside the store at 9500 Satterfield Drive about 10 p.m. when a man pointed a silver semi-automatic pistol at them and ordered them back inside, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The man ordered the employees to give him money from the cash register and they complied, the report stated.

The employees told police the robber said, "Do not play with me; I will shoot everyone," before putting $1,900 in cash into a black backpack and leaving the store on foot.

The robber is described as a 5-foot-8 black man weighing 180 pounds and wearing a black coat, black mask, white shirt, black pants, and white and black shoes.

Police reviewed video from the store and made no arrests, according to the report.
