William Maclin Tweedy ran for Little Rock police judge in 1910, won in 1911, was impeached and tossed out of office in 1913 and lost a re-election effort. Over the next six years, he was arrested many times for drunk and disorderly conduct, carrying concealed weapons, assault, battery, speeding. In 1918, he ran for county judge and lost. Here are a few of his campaign ads from 1910 and 1918.
