How does this work? If only one player wins Tuesday's drawing, the lump sum option would pay an estimated $904 million prize. In Arkansas, state and federal taxes would reduce that to about $614.7 million. The calculator divides that jackpot payout over the number of days in the average U.S. citizen's lifespan (78.8 years) and then takes into account the age of any person who enters a birthday above.
