MELBOURNE — The Ozarka College Business Department will offer a three-hour credit course titled Survey of Computers from 5:30-8:20 p.m. Tuesdays, starting Aug. 24, at each Ozarka location in Ash Flat, Melbourne and Mountain View; as well as the Mammoth Spring High School.
This introductory class will teach students basics of computers, including topics of computer hardware, data input and output, auxiliary storage, data files, operating systems, application software and the Internet.
Students will gain hands-on experience in the computer lab by becoming familiar with various software, learning to use e-mail and surfing the net.
