Arkansas' Ryan Mallett was selected Monday as SEC Offensive Player of the Week after his record-breaking performance in the game against Vanderbilt Saturday.

Mallett broke his own record Saturday when he threw for 409 yards, leading the Hogs to a 49-14 win against the Commodores. Mallett had three touchdowns, and achieved a new career high with 44 attempts, the third-highest single-game total in Arkansas history.

Arkansas next faces South Carolina at 6 p.m. Saturday.
