Governor’s appointments

— Gov. Mike Beebe’s office on Monday announced the following appointments to state boards and commissions:

To the Social Work Licensing Board: Tealisa Allen, Little Rock, reappointed; Kaylynn Barrett, England, reappointed; Betty Rhodes, McGehee, reappointed. Appointments expire June 30, 2013.

Douglas Avery, Texarkana, to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2013. Replaces Glenn Mixon.

Dr. Paul Baltz, Pocahontas, reappointed to the Black River Technical College Board of Directors. Appointment expires July 1, 2017.

To the State Review Committee for Historic Preservation: Jamie Brandon, Magnolia, replaces Roger Coleman; Parker Westbrook, Little Rock, reappointed. Appointments expire June 30, 2014.

Eddie Ciganek, Hazen, to the Prairie County Quorum Court, District 6. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2010. Replaces Charles Gerren.

To the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Board of Visitors: Mattie Collins, Pine Bluff, reappointed; Alice Barnes Rose, Forrest City, reappointed. Appointments expire Jan. 14, 2017.

Dwayne Craig, Gravette, reappointed to the Auctioneers Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 15, 2014.

To the Arkansas Building Authority Council: Drew Crawford, Sherwood, reappointed; Tracey Rancifer, Little Rock, replaces Joel Buckner; Jerry Halsey Jr., Jonesboro, reappointed. Appointments expire July 22, 2013.

Karen Dilldine, Blytheville, to the Mississippi County Quorum Court, District 2. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2010. Replaces Tommy Dilldine.

Richard Emmel, Little Rock, reappointed to the Baby Sharon’s Children’s Catastrophic Illness Grant Program. Appointment expires May 1, 2014.

Ginger Fenter, Fort Smith, to the state Board of Physical Therapy. Appointment expires July 1, 2013. Replaces Seth Coulter.

To the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors: Ivan Hoffman, Rudy, reappointed; Dan Young, Little Rock, replaces Woodrow Turner. Appointments expire July 1, 2014.

Ron Holt, Malvern, to the Ouachita Technical College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires July 1, 2017. Replaces Peter Paladino.

Marsha Jones, Springdale, to the Northwest Technical Institute Board of Directors. Appointment expires June 30, 2015. Replaces John Phillips.

To the Arkansas Deaf and Hearing Impaired Telecommunications Services Corp.: James “J.T.” Meister, Little Rock, reappointed; Tommy Walker, Little Rock, replaces Louise Cremeen. Appointments expire June 1, 2013.

To the Boll Weevil Eradication Committee: Joe Mencer, Lake Village, reappointed; Randy Reynolds, Blytheville, reappointed. Appointment expires July 1, 2014.

William Millager, Rogers, to the Benton County Quorum Court, District 6. Appointment expires Dec., 31, 2010. Replaces Marge Wolf.

To the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board: Tracy Moy, Benton, reappointed; Jonathan Sweeney, Little Rock, replaces Earl Smith; Bekki White, Little Rock, reappointed. Appointments expire Aug. 1, 2014.

Lenora Newsome , Smackover, reappointed to the state Board of Pharmacy. Appointment expires June 30, 2016.

Douglas Parker, Gravette, to the Veterinary Medical Examining Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2015. Replaces Dr. Allison Patchell.

Robert Weih, Monticello,to the state Board of Registration for Foresters. Appointment expires July 18, 2015. Replaces Dr. Richard Kluender.
