— The pieces, donated by James Hayes, Brenda Hogan, Morgan Coven, Mike Anderson and others, were indeed Art to Remember. That’s the formal name of the annual benefit for Alzheimer’s Arkansas, held March 29 at the Pavilion in the Park.

Guests shopped for various forms of Arkansas art while enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres in an elegantly appointed setting. Phyllis Watkins, executive director of Alzheimer’s Arkansas, and board President Sissy Clinton welcomed attendees.

Also among the volunteers, board members, artists and guests were Mike and Anita Worrell, Rebecca and Tim Desbrow, Bob Fleming, Barbara Baber, Virginia Laman, Bonnie Fincher, Pat Matthews, Karen andTerry Masching, Katherine Ann Trotter, Barbara Barnett, Ann Anderson, Dorothy Jones, Stephanie Hull, Melissa Compton, Courtney Blaisdell and Beverly and Pulaski County Judge Buddy Villines.

Proceeds from Art to Remember pay for Alzheimer’sArkansas’ Family Assistance Program - statewide grants that may be used by family caregivers for loved ones with Alzheimer’s (respite care, home modifications, in-home care supplies, legal fees) or for caregiver counseling.
