— Nuptial vows were exchanged by Erica Catherine Penick and David Blakeley Kimball at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, in Watermark Community Church, Dallas. Wes Butler officiated.

Parents of the bride are Carol Ann Penick and Edward Moore Penick Jr., both of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Evelyn and Edward Penick Sr. and the late Dorothy and Ted Crabtree, all of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Karen and Don Kimball of Dallas. He is the grandson of Lillian Pearce and the late Harry Swartz, both of Heber Springs, and the late Flora and William Kimball of Hot Springs.

Nuptial music was by violinist Jason Charlesworth, guitarist Greg Blankenship and soloist Sasha Thomas.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless organza and lace gown embellished with crystals and pearls. Her tulle veil was edged with ribbon. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, roses and peonies.

Matron of honor was Jill Penick of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Susan Kimball, sister of the groom, and Ashley Penick Landers, sister of the bride, both of Dallas.

Junior bridesmaids were Lauren and Lilly Landers of Dallas, nieces of the bride.

The attendants wore one-shoulder, knee-length dresses of eggplant douppioni silk. They carried bouquets of purple and green hydrangeas, roses and peonies.

Jeff Jones of Dallas was best man. Groomsmen were Bobby Rodriguez and Kevin Gober, both of Dallas; Jason Charlesworth of Bentonville; Shannon DeRouselle of Miami; Greg Blankenship of Nashville, Tenn.; and Edward Moore Penick III of Little Rock, brother of the bride.

Guests were seated by Eric Mann, Chad Crain, John Carswelland Daniel Wainscott, all of Dallas, and Trac Cook of Nashville.

Ring bearers were Edward Moore Penick IV and Worthen Clark Penick, both of Little Rock and nephews of the bride.

Arrangements of purple hydrangeas, peonies and roses decorated a reception at The Loft at Watermark Community Church.

The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She has a master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is employed as an adoption specialist at Buckner Children and Family Services in Dallas.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in real estate and finance from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He is children’s pastor at Watermark Community Church.

After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will live in Dallas.
