A 9-year-old was shot and is now in critical condition in Little Rock on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. at 10010 of Carrie Lane in southwest Little Rock when shots were fired and the child, who was across the street at 10011, was hit by a stray bullet.
Sg.t Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department said the child was shot in the torso.
The child, whose sex is unknown, was transported to St. Vincent Medical Center by personal vehicle.
Davis said one of the shooting suspects left in a purple vehicle.
