LR School Board seeks input in superintendent search

The Little Rock School Board is seeking input from the community on what it should look for in a superintendent.

Forums will be held next week for the public to weigh in on the skills, traits and style that the new leader should possess.

The forums will be:

Monday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m.

Hinton Center - West 12th & Pine St.

Roberts Elementary School - 16601 LaMarche Dr.

Tuesday, March 8 at 6:00 p.m.

Wakefield Elementary School - 75 Westminister Dr.

Forest Heights Middle School - 5901 Evergreen St.

Wednesday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m.

J.A. Fair High School - 13420 David O. Dodd Rd.

Thursday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m.

Henderson Middle School - 401 John Barrow Rd.

Dunbar Magnet Middle School - 1100 Wright Ave.

Southwest LR Community Center - 6401 Baseline Rd.

An online survey for those who can't attend a forum will be made available Monday, March 7 at www.LRSD.org.

The search for a leader for the state's largest school district comes after the School Board decided not to renew interim Superintendent Linda Watson's contract.
