LITTLE ROCK — Carolyn and Charlie Eagle of Little Rock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. The couple were married Sept. 30, 1961. Mrs. Eagle, the former Carolyn Hamilton, is a retired elementary school teacher. Eagle retired from the Pulaski County Special School District transportation department. They are the parents of Rene Embrey of Beebe and Cheryl Siple of Rowlett, Texas. The couple have six grandchildren.
Dale and Geneva Aldridge of North Little Rock will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family at their home on Wednesday. The couple were married Oct. 5, 1951. Mrs. Aldridge is the former Geneva Balentine and is retired from Harvest Foods. Aldridge is retired from Union Pacific Railroad. They are the parents of Michael Aldridge of Greenbrier and Alice Baeten of North Little Rock. The couple have two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Linda and Billy Morden of North Little Rock celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner and plan an anniversary cruise to Alaska. The couple were married Sept. 28, 1961. Mrs. Morden, the former Linda Broyles, is a retired hair dresser. Morden is owner of Wright’s Cabinets. They are the parents of Bobby Morden of Sherwood, Stacie Henson of North Little Rock and the late Randy Morden. The couple have five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
Josephine and Robert T. Williams of Sherwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Oct. 2, 1961. Mrs. Williams, the former Josephine Moore, is a retired child-care provider at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville. Williams retired as a master sergeant from the Marine Corps and as a police officer for the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. They are the parents of Lisa M. Williams of Dallas and Samantha J. Williams of Sherwood. The couple have one grandchild.
MORRISON BLUFF - Margaret and Joe Siebenmorgen will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 9 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church Parish Hall with a drop-in reception. The couple were married Oct. 7, 1946. Mrs. Siebenmorgen is the former Margaret Weisenfels. Siebenmorgen is a dairy and cattle farmer. They are the parents of Allen Siebenmorgen, Charlotte Siebenmorgen, Joyce Kleck, Jan Tencleve, Geraldyn Spicer, Ruth Beshoner, Randy Siebenmorgen, Kevin Siebenmorgen, Mark Siebenmorgen, Bob Siebenmorgen, Linda Oldham, Gloria Koch, the late Gerald Siebenmorgen and the late Mary Siebenmorgen. The couple have 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Betty and Frank Vorster of Little Rock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Mass and with a family dinner. The couple were married Oct. 2, 1951. Mrs. Vorster is the former Betty Weisenfels. The couple are retired owners of Crystal Valley Glass. They are the parents of Sherry Paul of Jacksonville and Jeffery Vorster and Harold Vorster, both of Little Rock. The couple have two grandchildren.
BEEBE - Loretta and Don Sansom celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. The couple were married Sept. 22, 1961. Mrs. Sansom is the former Loretta Yarbrough and is retired from banking. Sansom retired from the Teamsters Union. They are the parents of Keith Sansom of Beebe and Eric Sansom of Little Rock. The couple have five grandchildren.
