— Ashley Elizabeth Pettit became the bride of Nicholas David Leopoulos at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in the Junior League of Little Rock Building. The Rev. Donna Rountree of First Christian Church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Lesa and Carl Pettit Jr. of Cabot. Her grandparents are Barbara and Bill Thomason of North Little Rock, Delores LeCompte and the late Carl Pettit, both of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Linda and Paul Leopoulos of North Little Rock. He is the grandson of the late Dorothy and Harry Hankins of Texarkana, Texas, and the late Evelyn and George Leopoulos of Hot Springs.

White arrangements of hydrangeas, gerbera daisies, lilies and peacock feathers decorated the ceremony site. Music was by pianist Susan Crosby.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown embellished with beading on the bodice, tulle skirt and train. She wore a hand-made crystal headpiece to match her gown and carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, daisies, lilies and peacock feathers.

Misty Abbott of North Little Rock, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Claudia Anderson of Jacksonville; Courtney Black of Vilonia; Whitney Farris of Conway; and Kim Mengarelli of Fayetteville. They wore one-shoulder Grecian-style gowns of peacock blue and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.

Serving as flower girl was Kaitlyn Abbott of North Little Rock, niece of the bride, and ring bearer was Reid Young of Cabot.

Thaddeus Leopoulos of Houston was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Martindale of Fayetteville; Sam Pettit of Conway, brother of the bride; David Rogers of North Little Rock; and Scott Willbanks of Little Rock.

A reception at the Junior League Building followed the ceremony. Guest tables were centered with arrangements of white hydrangeas and daisies and candles in varying sizes. Music was by Mickey “Stubby” Stumbaugh.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where she was a member of Lambda Pi Eta. She is communications manager at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.

The groom is a graduate of Savannah (Ga.) College of Art with a bachelor’s degree in photography. He is a candidate for a master’s degree in arts administration and serves as assistant director at the THEA Foundation.

The couple will reside in North Little Rock after a wedding trip to Savannah, Charleston, S.C., and Hilton Head, S.C.
