LITTLE ROCK — Police say a man died at an area hospital after he was found shot on a porch in Little Rock early Sunday.
About 3:20 a.m., police responded to a shooting at 1624 Brown St. and found Eddie Larkin, 42, lying on the porch with a gunshot wound, according to a news release. It was unknown if the address was Larkin’s residence.
Larkin was taken to an area hospital by MEMS, where he was later pronounced dead.
The release said the investigation is ongoing and that no suspect information was available.
Little Rock Police Department spokesman officer Michelle Howard and Pulaski County Coroner Gerone Hobbs did not return phone messages left Sunday.
Larkin’s death marks the city’s 35th homicide of the year.
