I-40 reopens after wreck near West Memphis

— Eastbound Interstate 40 has reopened in Crittenden County after closing because of an accident, officials said.

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said just before 8 a.m. that the highway had reopened after a wreck at the 269.5 mile marker near West Memphis.

Arkansas State Police said details on what happened in the wreck weren't immediately available.
