Authorities in Benton arrested a man on a rape charge after an investigation stemming from a Feb. 8 incident.
Cody Gatewood, 30, is a parolee who turned himself in Wednesday night after an incident was reported to officers earlier in the day.
Detectives served a search warrant on a residence where he was known to be living, but did not find Gatewood at the house.
Gatewood was released from custody Jan. 23 and put on supervised parole.
Benton Police say the incident is still under investigation and that anyone with information should contact the Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.
