Occupy LR protesters to submit to arrest, spokesman says

— The Occupy Little Rock group met at the steps of City Hall today and announced that about 10 members plan to remain in the camp tomorrow and submit to arrest.

The announcement comes after city officials ordered the protesters to leave their location at Fourth and Ferry streets by May 16 at 7 a.m.. The officials say the space is needed for bus parking during the tourist season and Riverfest.

"We want to make our point," Occupy spokesman Greg Deckelman said. "We want to have our day in court."
