Police: Few leads in U.S. Bank robbery in LR

The Little Rock Police Department seeks the public's assistance in locating a bank robber after it claims to have few leads in the investigation, spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said in a statement Monday.

On Nov. 26, an unidentified man stole an undisclosed amount of cash shortly before 10 a.m. from U.S. Bank located near Park Plaza Mall at 6320 W. Markham St.

Surveillance footage shows that the bank robber is a black man who stands about 6 foot 1 and appears to be in his late 20s and 30s. He was last seen wearing a black coat and bluejeans, according to the statement.

Police said the robber — who indicated during the robbery that he was carrying a weapon — should be considered armed and dangerous.

Those with information about the robbery are asked to contact the police department at (501) 371-4660.
