Sophomore Keyahndra Cannon scored a season-high 14 points to lead Arizona (4-7) to a 67-54 victory over UAPB Sunday at McKale Center, Tucson, Ariz.
Cannon hit 4 of 4 three pointers to help the Wildcats make nine in the game while Carissa Crutchfield also made four three pointers, finishing with 14 points. Breanna Workman also finished with 14 points while shooting 6 of 7 from the field.
Arizona shot 42.9 percent from the floor while holding UAPB to 33.9 field-goal shooting and outrebounding the Golden Lions 41-33, led 36-28 at halftime.
UAPB (1-9) was led by Christina Lane, who finished with 13 points despite shooting 4 of 17 from the floor. Cassidy Wright added 12 points.
