Oklahoma man killed after crashing into horse

WATTS, Okla. — Authorities say a 76-year-old Oklahoma man was killed after he crashed his motorcycle into a horse that was standing in the middle of a highway.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the collision happened Sunday night on U.S. 59 in Adair County. A report says Robert Green of Westville was driving south on the highway when he encountered the horse in the center of the road.

Green struck the horse, causing his motorcycle to go off the road and land in the ditch. Green was pronounced dead at a hospital in Siloam Springs.
