Little Rock officials will hold a public meeting Thursday to discuss plans to widen a stretch of South Elm Street in the Midway neighborhood.

The plans call for broadening South Elm from West 26th Street to West 27th in Ward 1, city officials said.

City engineers and residents will discuss the project at a meeting 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 W. 12th St. Residents are invited to ask questions and offer input.
