Western Arkansas will see showers and thunderstorms through late afternoon or early evening Sunday, forecasters say.
The storm system will continue on through the rest of the state on Sunday night, John Robinson, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service, said in an email.
The chances for severe weather will be low, but if there are severe storms they will be focused in western Arkansas Sunday evening, Robinson said.
Rainfall amounts from these storms should average about half an inch.
