Authorities were on the scene Thursday morning of major accident with a fatality on eastbound Interstate 30, the Bryant Police Department said.
The interstate was shut down after 8 a.m. at the Reynolds Road exit (123), but the service road was open, the department said in a statement.
Department spokesman Sgt. Todd Crowson confirmed that at least one person died in the wreck.
The interstate was closed at mile marker 122 because of the accident but reopened about 9:30 a.m., the state Highway and Transportation Department said.
