Editor’s note: The charge against Patsy Hughey for fraudulent use of a credit or debit card was dismissed in July 2017.
The former superintendent of the Dollarway School District was arrested Thursday on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card, jail records show.
Patsy Hughey was booked into the Jefferson County jail at 12:02 p.m. Thursday and was released the same day at 2:19 p.m., according to the jail’s inmate roster.
The Pine Bluff Police Department said last month that Hughey was the subject of a fraud investigation, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.
The investigation came after the Dollarway School Board voted Nov. 2 to fire Hughey.
A Pine Bluff Police Department spokesman was not immediately available.
