A Tillar woman died Saturday morning when two cars collided on Arkansas 1 in Desha County, state police reported.
Rose Hunt, 41, was driving a 1996 GMC south about 6:30 a.m. when a northbound Ford crossed the centerline and struck her car, according to a preliminary accident report. Hunt’s vehicle went off the road and overturned several times.
Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene.
Seth Young, 20, of Monticello was driving the Ford. He was taken to McGehee-Desha County Hospital with injuries.
According to the report, it was raining and roads were wet at the time of the accident.
