Police are investigating an early Sunday shooting that left one man dead and another injured in North Little Rock, authorities said.

About 1:51 a.m. Sunday officers responded to a call of shots fired at 1434 Rockwater Lane and found two men lying in a driveway. One man was suffering from a gunshot wound and the second man was “bleeding profusely” from the face and head, North Little Rock police officer Shana Cobbs said in a statement.

One of the men, 37-year-old Beau Abrams, died at the scene, Cobbs said. The second victim was taken to a hospital. Police did not release the name of the injured man.

No suspect information was immediately available and the investigation is ongoing, Cobbs said.

    Come on Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporters!
Here we have . . . . . another report with information missing. For instance, we know Beau Abrams died at the scene, but is he the one who suffered a gunshot wound, OR is he the one who was bleeding profusely from the face and head?
This kind of reporting makes one wonder why the reporter doesn't do a more thorough job and who, if anyone, proofs these reports.

If only the victim had been open carrying, he might not have been attacked.
