Disney On Ice's 'Frozen' coming to North Little Rock in May

One of Disney's most profitable movies and the highest-grossing animated film of all time will come to life on ice in May in North Little Rock, Verizon Arena said Thursday.

Disney On Ice's production of the Academy Award-winning Frozen will host eight performances May 4-8.

Shows will be at 7 p.m. daily, as well as 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 7 and 3 p.m. May 8, according to the venue.

The Frozen story follows the lives of two sisters and princesses, Anna and Elsa, who are separated from each other after the discovery of Elsa's magical powers. Disney on Ice's production will follow the sisters' journey of Elsa fleeing to seclusion in an effort to keep her sister safe.

Audiences will get to sing along to Frozen songs such as "Let it Go," Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and "Fixer Upper," according to Verizon Arena.

Tickets, starting at $16 for children and $26 for adults, go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 27.
