Monday recruiting tidbits: Top 30 prospect looking to visit Hogs

An ESPN 300 prospect is looking to visit Arkansas for the spring game.

Cornerback Chevin Calloway of Dallas Bishop Dunne said he's looking to visit Arkansas this Saturday. ESPN rates him the No. 4 cornerback and No. 27 overall prospect in the nation. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Calloway is from Pine Bluff and still visits returns to the state to visit family. Linebackers coach Vernon Hargreaves visited his school on Friday.

Arkansas safety target Montaric Brown of Ashdown plans to visit for the spring game. He visited Oklahoma State over the weekend.

Sophomore quarterback Cary Enos, 6-6, 175 of Spartanburg, S.C. said he's trying to attend the spring game. He and offensive coordinator Dan Enos are not related. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas offensive line commitment Kirby Adcock of Nashville has a 4.05 GPA and is a member of the High School Honor Society. He will have 19 college credits through Cossatot Community College when this semester is over.

Sophomore safety Angelo Collins of Monroe Quachita Parish plans to attend Arkansas' spring game.

Preferred walk-on linebacker Ben Brasuell of Benton plans to report to Arkansas May 29.

North Little Rock receiver Tobias Enlow plans to visit for the Hogs' spring game. He's also a preferred walk-on.

Razorback linebacker signee Giovanni LaFrance of New Orleans St. Augustine High School will make his way to Fayetteville for the spring game. He's hoping to bring his highly recruited cousin and safety Brad Stewart with him.

Stewart of McDonough High School in New Orleans is the No. 11 safety and No. 133 overall prospect by ESPN.

1:20 update

Junior college offensive lineman Alex Losoya, 6-4, 300 pounds, of Orange Coast College in California said he will make his other two official visits before making a decision. He said the Hogs are high on his list.

He doesn't know which schools he'll see for his last two visits.

As reported Sunday, said the fan support, facilities and the opportunity to contribute early were the highlights of his official visit.

Junior forward Jared Ridder, 6-7, 195 pounds, of Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo said Coach Mike Anderson and associate head coach Melvin Watkins will make an in-home visit tonight.

Ridder has scholarship offers from DePaul, Stetson, Missouri State, Lehigh and others. This season, he averaged 19.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, shooting 58 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the three-point line.
