Not guilty plea in Springdale motel party fight

FAYETTEVILLE -- A man arrested in connection with a Jan. 10 homicide at the Scottish Inns & Suites in Springdale pleaded not guilty Friday to a burglary charge in Washington County Circuit Court.

Keovongsa Noudaranouvong, 28, of Rogers is charged with accomplice to aggravated residential burglary in relation to his actions that night at the motel on 1219 S. Thompson St. He was given a March 14 court date.

Noudaranouvong also has a March 14 court date in an unrelated aggravated robbery case.

Eliazar Torres, 21, of Springdale was stabbed twice in the neck after an early morning altercation at the motel, police said. Torres was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale where he died Jan. 12.

Hector Trejo, 17, of Rogers is charged with capital murder in Torres' death.

An additional six adults face charges in connection with the homicide.
