No one was injured when a car stuck in the snow in North Little Rock caught fire and became engulfed in flames.
North Little Rock Fire Department Fire Marshal Chief John Pflasterer said it happened about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of M Avenue and Ridge Road.
Pflasterer said the driver was attempting to get to work when her Hyundai Genesis became stuck in the snow. She then revved the engine to try and free it, he said, which eventually caused the vehicle to overheat and catch fire.
"Things like that can happen, believe it or not," Pflasterer said.
