Little Rock police officers investigate Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the scene of shooting behind the Wal-Mart on Baseline Road.

A man shot in the arm behind a Wal-Mart in southwest Little Rock is expected to be OK after police arrived to the scene and applied a tourniquet, a department spokesman said.

The victim and the shooter knew each other and got into an argument behind the store's auto center, spokesman Lt. Steven McClanahan said. Neither were employees at the Wal-Mart on Baseline Road.

No arrests have been made.

McClanahan said police arrived on scene shortly after the shooting was reported at 1:41 p.m. and were able to stop the bleeding from a bullet wound in the man's arm.

The man, who was in his 30s, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, McClanahan said.
