Earnings report

Companies reporting quarterly earnings Tuesday included:

Archer-Daniels-Midland Co., the world’s largest corn processor, a profit of $230 million, or 39 cents a share, down from $493 million, or 77 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $14.4 billion. Shares fell $1.16 to close Tuesday at $39.10.

CVS Health Corp., the nation’s second-largest drugstore chain, a profit of $1.15 billion, or $1.04 per share, down from $1.22 billion, or $1.07 a share, a year ago. Revenue was $43.22 billion. Shares rose $2.47 to $103.92.

Mylan N.V., the generic drugmaker, a profit of $13.9 million, 3 cents a share, down from $56.6 million, or 13 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 17 percent to $2.19 billion. Shares rose 98 cents to $43.69.

Valero Energy Corp., the oil refiner, a profit of $495 million, or $1.05 per share, down from $964 million, or $1.87 a share, a year ago. Revenue totaled $15.71 billion. Shares fell $2.19 to close at $57.63.
