An Arkansas man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in a robbery last summer, according to the Sentinel-Record in Hot Springs.

Casey Lee Couch, 30, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of robbery last year in Garland County Circuit Court stemming from a robbery May 1, 2015, at a residence in the 600 block of Spring Street in Hot Springs.

As part of his plea agreement filed Monday, an additional felony charge of theft of property of a firearm was dropped in connection with the attack on a male homeowner and the theft of his .380-caliber handgun.

The victim told authorities that two other suspects were at his home during the robbery, according to an affidavit.

Monday’s agreement also withdrew unrelated charges of two counts of committing a terroristic act originating from a drive-by shooting Nov. 11, 2014, in the 200 block of Main Street in Hot Springs.
