Arkansas assistant coach Kurt Anderson watches his players Tuesday, March 29, 2016, during practice at the university's practice field on campus in Fayetteville.

The offensive line coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks vowed on Twitter on Tuesday to track down the owners of unleashed dogs he says killed his family's cat.

In a message he posted on Twitter shortly after 8:30 a.m., Kurt Anderson said his children found the dead cat, Cash, earlier Tuesday morning.

"To the owners of the pitbulls that are roaming the neighborhood and killed our cat," Anderson wrote. "I will find you!"

Anderson later Tweeted out photos of Cash with his family, writing that his children were "crushed but are raised tough and life has its teaching moments."

"I will advocate for leash laws and ordinances," he added.

In other messages on Twitter on Tuesday, Anderson lamented that the dogs are "free to roam and endanger my wife and kids and the neighborhood pets." He added Cash "was not the first neighborhood pet killed."
