An Little Rock woman who competed on the CBS game show The Price Is Right took home a car and a home office set that included a computer, smartphone and furniture after winning a showcase in an episode that aired Wednesday.
Khadijah Lewis, clad in all white, earned her chance to go onstage after her guess on the price of a car Bluetooth audio package — $1 higher than an opponent's — was the closest.
Lewis fell short of winning a Nissan Sentra S on a game of Switcheroo, in which she scrambled numbers to guess the prices of various items. But she did net a bread maker and a slow cooker.
A spin of the wheel earned her the chance to face off against another opponent in the game's showcase showdown. The package she had to guess on consisted of a red Mini Cooper along with a home office set that included a computer, smartphone, desk, bookcase, cabinet and leather chair.
Lewis estimated $26,500, about $2,000 under the actual price of the package. Her guess was closer than her opponent's estimate on a package that included trips to New Zealand, Thailand and Italy.
Lewis whooped and blew kisses to the audience. She shouted greetings to her partner, saying it was their one-year anniversary, as well as to her grandchildren and church family.
Overall, Lewis took home close to $30,000 in prizes.
