A 57-year-old Arkansas man was killed Monday morning in a crash in which his vehicle overturned into a ditch, state police say.
According to a preliminary crash report, Darrell D. Carter of Jonesboro was headed south on U.S. 67 north of Gum Stump Road when he drove off the road about 5 a.m.
The 2003 Saturn then overturned into a ditch, authorities said.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the wreck.
There have been at least 345 deaths on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary state police data.
