ROGERS — Bridge work on Interstate 49 in Rogers will require lane closings this weekend, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials.
Weather permitting, northbound I-49 will be reduced to one open lane for the work on the bridge over New Hope Road, Exit 83. The outside and center lanes will be closed between mile markers 82 and 84 from Friday at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 9 p.m. The on and off ramps at Exit 83 will remain open during the work.
Traffic will be controlled using barrels and signs. The public is advised to be cautious if traveling in this work zone and are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid the closing.
